Classic Housewife Makeup

If you struggled with knowing your season, I have an easy test for you:

Find some lip shades in pinks and mauves varying from light to dark

(if you look good in lighter shades of these colors you are summer :)   If you look good in darker shades of these colors, you are winter)

Classic housewife lipstick would be the purple red like on the bottom right  for winters;)
Summers go with the top right red :)

Now as a comparison, find some warmer shades... golds and browns and oranges varying from light to dark. Try these. The lighter shades would mean you are a spring, the darker shades would mean you are an autumn. Think fall leaves.

(if you look good in lighter shades of these colors, you are a spring. If you look good in darker shades of these colors, you are autumn)

Classic housewife red is going to be an orange toned red. The bright reds for these warm shade gals. ;)

So there you have it. You should look good in all of the colors of your appropriate shade even if you look good in one or two of another. This is a surefire way to know which colors to pick.

If you are summer, pick pastels and light "pinker" shades. Find a light blue toned (not orange) red.

If you are a winter, dark berries and purples. Find a dark purple red.

If you are a spring, you look good in light orange colors, bright orange is your red.

If you are Autumn. Dark browns are ideal. Brown red is best for you.

Summer/Winter - more icy blue shades
Spring/Autumn - More orange warm fire shades :)

Find out if you are warm or cool and use corresponding colors... Cool colors look better in greys and black eye liners. Warm colors look better with browns and greens.

Enjoy :)

Much love,
Veronique
